Limited Time Events are just that, available for a limited time. Persistant Events are events that, once released, will continue throughout the entirety of the game.

It seems like only the initial handshake fails on my landline everything else is slow but functional. Though lag is horrible at that point (so I do not suggest doing the dungeon this way), it at least will connect, meaning I can go back to my landline, slow as it will be. Lies of Astaroth is one of those games that requires constant checking in. So, after I boot the game up and get past the splash screen, I plug the wire back in and turn off my hotspot. The thing is, I do not want to burn through my phone's data plan. I can connect again, though the connection is slower through the phone (this has affected me for about a week in dungeon now, and is getting a bit annoying).
For some reason, the problems largely go away. When my land connection (wired) is not working, I disconnect the wire and log in using my phone as a hotspot. Here is a trick I have been using that may be of some help: Posted AugNot sure if you realize but they mean the first 6 maps and not just the first 6 levels of the first area. It is definitely specific to certain ISPs.
